So I've recently been dying for these products but I'm waiting until I'm in departures in the airport for that discount! I'm a big fan of the formula of the Mac Lipsticks and I own quite a few but I don't own any light pinks and Please Me! is such a beautiful colour. I love it's baby pink colour and I just think that it's the perfect light pink shade. Rockateur By Benefit is a beautiful blush and it has a small amount of shimmer in it to help highlight your cheeks, I'm up for anything that's going to make putting make up on faster and this product does just that. The new Benifit Gimme Brow would be a perfect brow product to add to the collection. It has small fibers in it to thicken out eyebrows boosting your brows to make them look picture perfect all day. I WANT IT! The the last of the top benefit products is POREfessional. I can't believe i haven't purchased this yet, I've gotten a tester and fell in love with this stuff mainly on the fact that it makes your skin look flawless and a girl needs that in her life. Now on to another Mac product. This Pro Longwear Concealer is a definite must for my dark circles. I've seen so many people raving about this stuff to i thought that maybe i should give it a try! Now last of all is the Nars Laguna Bronzer. The colour is beautiful and looks like it could really give a natural radiant glow to the skin. As soon as I can get my hands on all these products is the day that I will be overjoyed with my complexion!

Bonjour friends

Hello there! So as the title says 'bonjour' you may have guessed that this post is about France. Being one of the worst people to learn languages and bonjour is the only word in french that I am confident is french.. but yes this is about France. My family actually own a house in the south of France as our own little holiday home but me and my parents have only ever been once in the 10 years we've share owned it with the fest of my family so we have taken the opportunity this summer - as I have 6-7 weeks off- to go out to France for 3 weeks, and as you can imagine, I am extremely excited! I've actually asked on of my bestfriends Ellie to come along with us!

The last time I went to the south of France I was 12 i think and I didn't really appreciate any of the surroundings and we also didn't really go anywhere other than where we were staying and the beach so this time we are going to visit a few of the surrounding villages and be proper tourists! I'm mainly excited to try the local cuisine, as I'm one of these people that when I'm outside of the UK i enjoy trying all the food native to that country and I just really like food!

I'm already planning on taking quite a few snaps while i'm away and posting them to my blog but i'm not sure if there will be wi-fi or anything to blog but I suppose if not, when I get back I shall write a huge blog post filled with all the activities i get up to, heheh!

 Speak to you soon! x

A few Questions & Answers

  • What’s your favourite eye shadow colour to wear? Malt (Soft pinkish brown)
  • What’s the one product you wouldn’t leave your house without? Baby Lips in Cherry Me. Such a hydrating lip balm which also tints your lips a soft pink.
  • What’s your favourite makeup look ? Bronzed.. or just basic and natural.
  • Which feature do you play up the most? Either my eyes (as i have super long eyelashes or my lips!)
  • Which feature do you try to downplay/cover up? My legs. Or just my whole figure in general haha!
  • Your favourite makeup brand, if you could pick only ONE to exist? Maybelline.
  • Which product have you re-purchased OVER and OVER again? One by One Mascara by Maybelline. It's such a good quality mascara that completely lengthens and also makes sure your eyelashes don't clump together, it's great!
  • Which product would you NEVER repurchase again and why? Rimmel Stay Matte Primer, i feel like it doesn't do anything!
  • One beauty treatment you would always PAY to have done? I work in a beauty salon so i get everything free but if i had to pay for one thing it would be a facial!
  • One beauty treatment you would NEVER pay to have done? Anything to do with my feet. Even though i love getting my feet done but my granny is a chiropodist so i get them done whenever i want for free!
  • One beauty trick you can share with everyone? Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. It's amazing. If you haven't tried it, go out right now and get it. It's 100% better than any other concealer i've ever tried and any branded.
  • Best advice you've ever been given regarding beauty and makeup? Moisture is key. Keep your face moisturized and your make-up will always look flawless!

OOTD | Cool and Collected

Second proper day of the Easter holidays, yay! I've spent the day at home all day, just chilling. Not getting up till 12.30, and then sat catching up on youtube videos, so its been a pretty great day! I went with a simple oversized jumper from Primark, it's 2 sizes too big for me but i really enjoy the oversized-ness! I also have a pair of black leggings from m&co with that and a vest-top under the large jumper also from Primark. I always feel the need to wear some sort of Jewelery with that so I have on my silver heart locket that i got from my granny, its been past through 6 generations so it's very special! I also put a statement gold necklace over the top just to spice up the outfit i guess you could say!

Well that was just a short catch up but i'll do a larger post later!

Primark, Newlook +others.

So As I said last time, I was away at the weekend, and may have spent just a bit of money. Oops, it was all in good cause so no worries! Hehe. I was in Inverness with my two best friends for a birthday weekend which was great! Being just the three of us with no adults made me feel really mature, I suppose it was just the though of being trusted so much by my parents and their parents. On the Friday night we went for a meal at a Chinese restaurant which was unreal. Such good and authentic Chinese food (Which i'm really craving now), then on the Saturday morning it was breakfast at Starbucks, what better!! A cappuccino and a Salmon Bagel later we all headed to the shopping cent re and shopped to our hearts content followed by a Chicken Tikka Sandwich with Jalapeno and Hot chilli sauce from subway! YUM! We then went for a birthday meal and presented my friend Rebecca with a chocolate cake and a lovely 3 course meal! The great weekend made for a very upsetting journey home as none of us wanted to go home!

So I started off in Primark, a used to be cheap shop where socks were 50p and tee's were £1.50 but now it seems the 50p pairs of socks have gone up to £3.00 and the Tee £6.00. But never mind, the amount of clothes you can get really does help to fill out a wardrobe with nice, cheap pieces!
So, to start off the lighting is terrible in this picture! But no worries, you can still get and idea off everything i bought. Not everything here is from Primark, I got a few skirts and tops from New Look and H&M! All the pieces I bought are very summery and as you can tell I also picked up a few bikini's (but I will tell you why in a few blog post times!) I've tried on all pieces and they are all so comfortable, I absolutely adore everything I got. If you would like me to do a lookbook then feel free to comment as I would love to do one! I ended up buying a bit more than I though which showed on my bank balance.. oopsies!

See you soon! x

Catching up

Hi there, so I suppose I have a bit of explaining to do. You see I though that I would be able to keep up with at least 2 posts a week but that failed, real bad. Starting back at school, they have given us a huge work load which is a bummer. But I'm slowly working through it all and I thought I owe you this explanation!

I got my prelim results back which.. well.. lets just say, I could have done a lot better, but I'm not going to let it bring me down for the fact that I now know what I need to work on. Yawn. But if anyone needs a personal chef then, I would be happy to do so! Being the only prelim I got an A in, top chef I am!

So on Thursday night I'm heading off to Inverness for the weekend with 2 of my closest friends. It's mainly for my friend Rebecca's birthday so I've planned for us all to go out for a meal and a relaxing treatment while we are down because you're only 17 once! Or for 365 day but I didn't pass maths so lets not stick to that! But on top of all the birthday relaxation I am hoping to do a huge shop for Summer clothes and accessories for when I go off to France but I'll tell you about that later. So on Monday expect a big montage of photos from my time away and a haul of everything I buy!

See you soon! X

Day to Night

Day to Night

Day to Night by kiraadavidson showing what to wear with low rise jeans

So with this outfit I chose 2 different bottom halves which could be worn to turn this outfit from a casual daytime to a gorgeous night time outfit! The top I chose from Topshop here is textured which I really like about it. It's bold print helps to add pattern to the outfit which makes it easier to swap the H&M jeans here to the New Look skort here as they are both plain. I added this boohoo black blazer here as the weather is still very cool so a blazer over the top will still make this outfit very sophisticated but will keep you warm. I also went along with the simple but classy look with these Jane Norman black ballet shoes here, the gold and black bow on the front adds some bling to go along with the statement River Island gold chain here I picked out. The Mac lipstick in Faux here is a really natural shade which is really flattering on the lips. I added this Lipsy brown satchel here as I just really like the look of brown bags as they aren't too dark and go with absolutely everything!

Walks during the week

Well hey there, hope you're having a wonderful week so far! So far this week I have slept, ate, slept some more and gone for walks. It has definitely been a chilled out week! I live in quite a small village which is lovely, but it is quite a distance from proper shops and other things to do so since the weather has finally stopped being windy and cold and turned to sunshine but still cold I took the opportunity to take my gorgeous westie cross for a few glorious walks! Now, since I live on an island of course I am surrounded by the sea and fro my house I have a great view of the 1940's Churchill Barriers, I know how historic! So on my little adventure I took a few snaps of the walk!

So this is my gorgeous baby Jasmine. She's a westie crossed with a  lhasa apso and she is absolutely beautiful! Shes about 12 now and still acts like a 4 month old puppy (and still looks like one!) I love taking her out for a walk just because I think she's good company (mans/girls bestfriend for definite!)

Over on the top left hand side is the one of four of the Churchill Barriers that were created in the war to help keep scapa flow safe! Although in the winter the Barriers are a nuisance as when it's bad weather large waves hit the barriers causing them to be dangerous to cross and they get closed during high tide which is irritating because I'm either stuck not being able to go home or stuck not being able to go anywhere, they are actually quite beautiful and a reminder of all the soldiers that died!

Well so far that's been my week, hows yours been? Feel free to leave comments below and i'll try and reply! Speak to you later! x

Lady Gaga FAME

Hey guys! So I was planning on only doing a new blog post every Monday but after some deep thinking I though that maybe I should do a new post 3 times a week, since I have quite a bit of time on my hands at the moment! I recently went into town and purchased a new perfume. I've been hearing that the scent is very mature and that it's good value for money so I bought it just out of curiosity. It was purchased from Tesco on sale for £17.50 which for 50 ml bottle of perfume, a 10 ml roller ball and a cute little skull tattoo it was definitely worth the price. I'm in love with the packaging as it is very simple and sleek. The black liquid -don't worry, you can't see it on clothes- is really inviting as I don't actually think any other perfumes on the market have black liquid that sprays clear. I feel like Lady Gaga always tried to be different because she believes in being unique as I think everyone can tell!

So lets talk about the fragrance itself. So the fragrance is very mature, or so it seems to a 16 year old girl! I really like this perfume as an evening perfume as I don't feel like it has such a scent that is for day to day wear. It's has a very floral and fruity scent which is really inviting. As a whole I really think this is a very nice perfume as it captures aspects of other perfumes and brings them all together to give it it's signature scent.

It's nearly over

Well, 2 posts in one day, aren't you lucky! I though I might as well tell you whats been happening so far this week. To start off I'm on prelim leave, which are basically mock exams so I'm currently doing those at the moment, with 3 weeks off. Bliss! So far last week I had three of the exams, adding up to over 7 hours of writing. Think my hands about to fall off. I've not done bad at revising but I also wouldn't say that I've done well revising, need a bit of a kick up the bum when I revise but I suppose when it's the real exams I'll be trying hard to study. Not too keen for that. So basically I've treated it as an extra holiday. I've only got one more to do this week then the guilt of no revision will be gone, woo!

I've decided to have a lazy day at home today, in comfortable leggings that always seem to stay at the back of my wardrobe, do you ever do that? You have so many pairs of jeans, leggings, tops, jumpers etc and you wear the same thing over and over again, so everything you hardly ever wear end up getting lost in the back of your wardrobe. Well, finally these geometric print leggings have come out of the land of the back of the wardrobe. I'm also watching Despicable Me 2, I don't think I've ever loved a cartoon movie more, it's the minions that do it! Definitely a must watch movie. I'm also looking through Cosmopolitan Magazine, I really get a lot of inspiration from this magazine, it's not too over the top designer, like some other magazines. But I suppose all these 'fashion' magazines are a bit of a weakness to me!

Well, this is most likely what I'm going to be doing for the next few days!  This and a bit of room tidying and decorating! I hope you have a great week and i'll speak to you next week. Speak to you later! x

Hello you!

So, I've decided to create my blog and update it every Monday for the rest of the year. I need an activity to do, to take my mind off things at the moment and I thought this would be a good idea. So basically, you could call this my diary... of some sorts anyway. And you can read it. In fact, call it the key to my life.

I may as well start by telling you a bit about myself. My names Kira, I'm 16 but will soon be turning 17 in April which terrifies me, I really don't want to grow up. You say to yourself when you're little that you can't wait to grow up and be classed as an adult but you realize as you start to grow up that maybe it's not such a good idea because you have to pay bills, earn a living and not rely on your parents, you really don't know where the road of life will take you. It's like your own mystery and that scares me- not knowing where the road will go. I suppose life is just one great big adventure!

Speak to you later, have a good day! x
