Walks during the week

Well hey there, hope you're having a wonderful week so far! So far this week I have slept, ate, slept some more and gone for walks. It has definitely been a chilled out week! I live in quite a small village which is lovely, but it is quite a distance from proper shops and other things to do so since the weather has finally stopped being windy and cold and turned to sunshine but still cold I took the opportunity to take my gorgeous westie cross for a few glorious walks! Now, since I live on an island of course I am surrounded by the sea and fro my house I have a great view of the 1940's Churchill Barriers, I know how historic! So on my little adventure I took a few snaps of the walk!

So this is my gorgeous baby Jasmine. She's a westie crossed with a  lhasa apso and she is absolutely beautiful! Shes about 12 now and still acts like a 4 month old puppy (and still looks like one!) I love taking her out for a walk just because I think she's good company (mans/girls bestfriend for definite!)

Over on the top left hand side is the one of four of the Churchill Barriers that were created in the war to help keep scapa flow safe! Although in the winter the Barriers are a nuisance as when it's bad weather large waves hit the barriers causing them to be dangerous to cross and they get closed during high tide which is irritating because I'm either stuck not being able to go home or stuck not being able to go anywhere, they are actually quite beautiful and a reminder of all the soldiers that died!

Well so far that's been my week, hows yours been? Feel free to leave comments below and i'll try and reply! Speak to you later! x
